Ljones, Mari Skeie

Mari Skeie Ljones performs folk music on the ordinary violin in the tradition from Gudbrandsdal. She plays for groups, organizations, private parties and for tourists, introducing the music in both Norwegian and English. She often performs solo, but also appears in ensembles with one or two other musicians. She leads and performs with the Lillehammer Junior Fiddler's Club, and she also plays for dancing. Mari performs in bunad (festive costume) or in everyday clothing.
